The Governor of Oyo State Gov. Seyi Makinde has reiterated his administration’s dedication to uphold merit, competence, and excellence in appointments, stating that his government prioritises talent over sentiment, partisanship, or ethnic considerations.
Gov. Makinde emphasized that his administration will continue to appoint people who can contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the state, regardless of their political leaning or state of origin.
The governor made this known on Tuesday while inaugurating members of the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
“Wherever we can find talent that can add value to us as a state, I will go for such a person,” the governor said.
He urged the newly sworn-in commission members to bring their expertise and dedication to bear in advancing the judicial system and the broader interests of the state.
