Nigeria Red Cross Society, Oyo State Branch, says there is need for continuity of human race through selfless services and assistance to the most vulnerable.
The branch secretary, Mr Ojo Olaleye said this in an interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent, while speaking on the significance of this year’s World Red Cross Day.
According to Mr Olaleye, to keep humanity around, impartial help and services must be render to all, irrespective of race, age or religion.
Mr Olaleye, therefore, called on government and well meaning Nigerians to assist Red Cross Society in tackling poverty, hunger, crisis, war and pandemic that poses threat to humanity.
He further appealed to government to make the selfless services of Red Cross volunteers easier by providing necessary equipments, mobility and welfare packages.
