A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state, Otunba Oluseye Opatoki has officially declared his governorship ambition in the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Otunba Opatoki made the declaration at Ward 2, Ogbongan, Olanla Village, at Akinyele Local government area of Ibadan, Oyo state.
Addressing party’s members at the ward, Otunba Opatoki promised to continue with Governor Seyi Makinde’s policies and projects if given the opportunity to be the state’s party flag bearer in 2027.
Otunba Opatoki further reiterated his commitment to the people and the land that has shaped him.
Some members of the party who accompanied Otunba Opatoki to his home town underscored the depth of his administrative experience, describing it as both extensive and impactful.
Members of the ward expressed their support for Otunba Opatoki and called for party unity ahead of the forthcoming elections
