A Public Affairs Analyst, Dr Aliyu Ilyas has called for restructuring of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, following the financial scandal trailing the suspended Minister, Dr Betta Edu.
Dr Ilyas made the call while featuring on Pensioners FM Current Affairs Programme, Trending, and called for the investigation of the entire Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Dr Ilyas, who condemned Dr Edu’s action, however, reiterated that corruption among government officials was not gender-based.
Dr Ilyas, who is also a Development Consultant, lauded President Bola Tinubu for his swift response regarding Dr Edu’s alleged corrupt practices, saying it would serve as a warning to other cabinet members.
Dr Ilyas advised President Tinubu to continue to check on his cabinet for smooth running of his administration.
