A media professional, Mr Samuel Afouda has called for the need to appreciate law enforcement agencies for their efforts in ensuring orderliness and safety of life and property in the country.
Mr Afouda made this known while speaking on the significance of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in Nigeria, on “Ndigbo Oyoyo” a Pensioners FM Igbo Programme.
According to him, on this day, the citizens take the lead to appreciate diligent law enforcement officers in their communities.
Mr Afouda also urged media organisations to see amplifying the good deeds of law enforcement agencies as their responsibility.
Mr Afouda said this would encourage law enforcement officers to do more in their line of duties.
