National Coordinator for Aggrieved Pensioners of Union Bank Nationwide, Comrade Onuh Augustine, has appealed to National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and National Pension Commission (PenCom) to ensure that their pension is paid as and when due.
Comrade Augustine made the appeal in an interview with Pensioners FM.
According to Comrade Augustine, annuitants under African Alliance have not been paid their pension for the months of May and June.
He noted that several efforts have been made through visits to the African Alliance office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and its Headquarter in Lagos state, but no response yet. Comrade Augustine noted that they are old citizens who have served the nation meritoriously and do not deserve to be deprived of their entitlements.
