Some houses and shops have been submerged by flood, at Ring Road, Mobil area of Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, following the downpour yesterday in the state.
Pensioners FM correspondent who visited the scene reports that the heavy rain also disrupted daily and business activities in the area.
Some of the residents, who spoke in an interview, noted that the flooding was due to blocked drainages.
They call on the state government to come to their aid and earmark the area as part of the areas which drainages would be desilted.
