A member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara constituency at the house of representatives, Honourable Akin Alabi, has donated a school bus to Bishop Philips Academy, Abayomi, Iwo-road, Ibadan.
Represented by the Director-General of his campaign organisation, Mr. Adebowale Amoo, Honourable Alabi, said the move was to ease movement of students and staff of public schools in Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency.
Honourable Alabi, while assuring his constituents of more dividends of democracy stressed the need for the school to ensure adequate maintenance of the vehicle.
A member of Bishop Philips Academy, Abayomi, Iwo-road, Ibadan old student association, 1974 set, Dr. Tajudeen Adenrele, admitted that the gesture would boost the image of the school.
According to Dr. Adenrele, the last time the school owned a bus was in early 90s.
Pensioners FM reports that students and members of staff of the school were full of joy when the school bus was delivered at the school premises.
At the presentation of the bus were some leaders of All Progressive Congress APC in Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency.
