The Association of Retired Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Oyo/Osun States, AREHSPSOOS has reiterated its commitment towards the completion of the association’s building, as one of its capital projects.
Chairman of AREHSPSOOS, Chief Adebisi Adesola made this known at the association’s general meeting held at Pensioners House, Onireke, Ibadan.
Represented by AREHSPSOOS’s legal Adviser, Barrister Paul Bankole, in an interview, Chief Adesola called for members’ cooperation in progressing the association, through attending meetings and commitment towards the association’s building project.
Chief Adesola appreciated Mr Wole Oladokun, a member, on behalf of the association for hosting the general meeting for the month.
Earlier, a Health Expert, Dr John Babarinde called on the members of AREHSPSOOS to prioritise regular checkups of their blood pressure to curb hypertension and hearing impairment usually faced by older people.
Dr Babarinde lauded AREHSPSOOS for organising the health talks for its members.
Highlights of the event include swearing in of new members and prayers for birthday celebrants.
