The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has promised to re-install the electricity infrastructure destroyed during the explosion at Old Bodija Estate, Ibadan.
Chief Adelabu, made the promise during a visit to the explosion site.
The Minister who sympathized with the victims and the state, said he has directed Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC to embark on the restoration of electricity in the area.
Chief Adelabu called on the people to always alert relevant agencies of criminal and dangerous activities in their areas.
On his part, the team lead of the Emergency Operations Centre, Professor Temitope Alonge, revealed that the results of the integrity test of all the structures that were affected will be delivered next Tuesday.
Professor Alonge added that some of the victims of the explosion have recovered from post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD and have been discharged from hospitals.
