The State Coordinator, Oyo State Special Marshals, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa, has re-emphasised on the importance of functional lighting system in Vehicles.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa said this while featuring on “Awaye”, a Pensioners’ FM Road Safety weekly program, sponsored by Oyo State FRSC, Special Marshals, RS 11.3.
According to Pastor Adegbotoluwa, most road accidents that occur at night were as the result of motorists that evaded arrests during the day, because of their vehicle’s defective lighting.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa added that any motorists caught with defective lighting, would pay the sum of two thousand naira as fine.
