The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has praised the Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, for his roles in transforming lives.
Governor Adeleke said this in a message to mark the seventieth birthday of Oba Lawal, held in Ede, Osun State.
The Governor also appreciated the monarch’s dedication to promoting unity and patriotism in the town.
During the event held at Ede high school, the Babasanya of Edeland, High Chief Abdullateef Lawal, who is also the Chairman of the birthday Central Planning Committee, praised Oba Lawal for being a monarch worthy of emulation.
High Chief Lawal offered his prayers for the monarch’s protection and guidance.
Music legend, Ebenezer Obey, was on ground to entertain the guests including Governor Adeleke, top government functionaires, business moguls and traditional rulers
