Yellow house wins 12th inter- house sports Competition of police children school one.
Yellow House also known as Commissioner House has won the 12th Inter- House sports competition of Police Children School One, Eleyele, Ibadan.
Red house, which is also POWA house came second, Purple house, popularly known as PTA house occupied the third position, IGP Blue house came fourth, while Greenhouse a.k.a Governor house emerged fifth position.
Addressing the athletes, commissioner of police in Oyo state, Ayodele Sonubi, represented by Divisional Police Officer Eleyele Division, CSP Grace Akinseyiwa, expressed happiness for the remarkable growth and development of the school.
CP Sonubi advised parents to encourage their children to been involved in sports for their well-being.
The head teacher of Police Children school 1, Eleyele, Mr. Akinyele Adeyeri pointed out that children could have means of livelihood through sports.
Highlights of the event were inter-schools’ invitational relay race won by Awaru-Al-islam grammar school Eleyele Ibadan Oyo State in both male and female categories.
Among those present include deputy director Oyo-Osun research and planning, Mrs. Laniyan Tinuade, parents and old students of the school.
