Ibadan Country Club Donates Relief Materials to Motherless Babies

The Ibadan Country Club has called on the government to make provision for social welfare fund for motherless babies in its budgetary allocation.

Wife of the President of Ibadan Country Club, Mrs Olayemi Adegoke made this known to newsmen while donating relief materials to Ibadan Home for Motherless Babies, at Yemetu Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, as part of the club’s activities lined up for its 30th Anniversary.

Mrs Adegoke, advocated the inclusivenes of motherless babies in government policies.

Receiving the items on behalf of Assistant Matron of Home for Motherless Babies, Mrs Aderinola Oke, one of the staff, Mrs Omolara Ajao thanked the club for showing love towards th babies and prayed that the club will continue to flourish.

Speaking on other activities for the club’s 30th anniversary, President of the club, Dr Olaoluwa Adegoke said the grand finale will hold on the 24th of this month at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, UI.

Some of the items donated to the home were diapers, body creams and food items such as yam flour, rice, beans, eggs and cooking oil.
