Makinde Approves Trado-Medical Union as NLC Member

Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has approved the National Association of Herbal Medicine Employees, NAHME as member of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC Oyo State council.

Governor Makinde gave the approval at the inauguration of Chief Abdulfatai Ayedun as the state Chairman, NAHME, held at NLC secretariat, Ibadan.

Governor Makinde, represented by his Special Adviser on Labour Matter, Comrade Adebayo Titilola-Sodo urged members of the union to use their profession to contribute to the growth of the state’s economy.

Governor Makinde advised the newly inducted chairman to ensure equal rights among his members.

On his part, NAHME National President, Aare Yemi Areola, while appreciating Governor Makinde for the approval, called on President Bola Tinubu to approve the building of trado-medical hospitals across the country.

Earlier, the state Chairman, National Association of Herbal Medicine Employees, NAHME, Chief Ayedun lauded members of Oyo NLC for the opportunity and promised to work in harmony with the union.

Dignitaries present at the event include, Chairman, Oyo NLC, Comrade Kayode Martins, Secretary, Oyo NLC, Comrade John Fabunmi and members of Trade Union Congress, Oyo state council.
