Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has inaugurated the dualised 8.2 kilometer Agodi Gate, Old Ife road, Alakia, Adegbayi road including an underpass bridge at Onipepeye.
Governor Makinde when speaking during the inauguration in Ibadan said the construction and reconstructions of roads across the state were to expand the state economy for sustainable development.
Governor Makinde, added that his administration’s aim is to upgrade cities and towns across the state without leaving any community behind.
Inaugurating the project, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, commended Governor Makinde on his infrastructure drive, saying the governor is a model of good governance.
Governor Adeleke also called for unity among southwest governors to foster socio-economic development in the region.
Present at the inauguration were, Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal, former Governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Mimiko, former Governor of Osun State, Ọlagunsoye Oyinlọla, traditional rulers, religion leaders and other top government functionaries.
