Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Southwest Council has expressed its condolences and sympathies to Oyo State government, pensioners and the people of State, over the recent tragic explosion in Ibadan.
NUP, Southwest Council made this known in a statement signed by it Secretary, Comrade Sunday Akin and made available to Pensioners FM.
Comrade Akin said the union’s thoughts are with the families and communities affected by the explosion.
He said the union stands in solidarity with the resilient pensioners in Oyo State.
Comrade Akin prayed that the state government and those affected by the tragedy would find the strength and courage to rebuild and recover from their losses.
