Workers in Osun State will continue to join hands with the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke in its efforts to bring forth a new dawn of economic stability and all round development.
This was the resolution of members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ede North Local Government Area Branch, at a special interdenominational prayer session organised by the Union at the Council’s Headquarters, Oja Timi.
The special prayer session according to the organisers was put together to solicit divine guidance and blessing for the council, the town and the state at large.
Addressing the congregation, the Ede North Local Government, NULGE Chairman, Comrade Dauda Olagoke appreciated the kind gesture of Governor Adeleke, his magnanimity and hand of love extended to civil servants in the state.
He also appreciated the governor for the wage award given to the workers of the state to ameliorate the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Comrade Olagoke however solicited the support of the workers in the state towards the success of Governor Adeleke’s government.
On his part, the Council Head Local Government Administration, Engineer Musibaudeen Adenle appreciated the staff for their commitment, resilience and diligence to service delivery.
Engr. Adenle on behalf of the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Amodun also appreciated the state government for prioritise the welfare of workers, pensioners and people of the state.
Special prayers were offered by the Muslims and Christian Clerics for the state governor, the local government and entire staff of the council.
