The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP has announced the compulsory retirement of its General Secretary, Comrade Actor Zal with immediate effect.
The retirement followed Comrade Zal’s forty two years of service to the union and attaining sixty five years as a career officer in the service of NUP.
National President, NUP Comrade Godwin Abumisi made this known in a statement made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, Comrade Zal has outshot the retirement regulation as obtainable in the Nigeria Public service.
Comrade Abumisi therefore urged Comrade Zal to hand over office administration documents including all the union’s property and assets to the Deputy Secretary for continued administrative processes.
NUP President assured Comrade Zal of his retirement benefits in accordance with federal civil service scheme.
He congratulated and wished Comrade Zal a prosperous retirement life with robust health and longevity.
