The promotion of traditions and cultural heritages, have been identified as means to preserve morals among generations.
The Co-ordinator “Omo Awe Ni Mi Group”, Mr. Israel Taiwo made this known shortly after featuring on a special Programme heralding the 2023 Annual Awe cultural festival popularly called Awe Day in Oyo state.
According to Mr. Taiwo, the celebration is a means to fast track the Socio-Cultural development of the town, noting that the festival which started about 35 years ago has been bringing the indigenes of Awe home from all parts of the world.
Mr Taiwo noted that the Awe day which started on Monday will end on Saturday, 19th of this month.
Mr. Taiwo advocated proper documentation of history, tradition and culture of the Yoruba nation for posterity.
