Forum 68 of former Chairmen of Local Government, LG in Oyo State, says it is in full support of local government autonomy.
Chairman of the Forum, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye made this known at a get together/media talk, held at ALGON House, Ibadan.
According to Prince Abass-Aleshinloye, Forum 68 which consist of 68 ex-LG Chairmen, 68 ex-Vice Chairmen and 610 Councilors on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC backed the local government autonomy as fundamental necessity for grassroots and national development.

Prince Abass-Aleshinloye, urged the Forum to remain unbroken in achieving the task ahead and in ensuring that APC returns to power both at the local and state level, in 2027.
Earlier in a welcome speech, Secretary of the Forum, Pastor Oluyinka Jesutoye, noted that the gathering was to appreciate God for their lives and to also remember members who have departed and most importantly the architect of the Forum, former governor of Oyo State, late Abiola Ajumobi.

Present at the event were Acting Oyo APC Chairman, Olayide Abas, a former deputy chairman, Oyo APC, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi and other top personalities in the state.

Highlight of the event was prayer for the forum.
