As part of strategies to strengthen the newly formed Association of Retired General Managers and Executive
Secretaries of Oyo State Government Agencies, Seven
Registered Board of Trustees of the Association of have been elected in line with
Its Constitution through a Simple majority vote.
The members of the Registered Board of Trustees represent legal personalities that would be handling litigation issues (to sue and be sued) on behalf of the Association.
According to a statement by the Association’s Public Relations Officer,PRO, Mr. Goke Adelakun,the Registered Board of trustees would also in advisory capacity to the Executive and further take charge of the properties of the Association.
The statement named the Members of the Board of Trustees to include;Elder John Ogungbenro, Mrs. Adenike Okunade, Alhaji Olaide Asuni and Engr. E.O. Aremu.
Other members are Oba Dawod Jacob Olutayo,
Alhaji Modinat Oduola and Mr. Emmanuel Ogundiran.
Members of the Board of Trustees of Association of Retired General Managers and Executive
Secretaries Oyo State Government Agencies are expected to
meet in due course to choose their Chairman.
It would be recalled that the Pioneer Executive members of the
Association,led by its Chairman, Barrister Olusala Orobode ,were recently elected and sworn – in to
pilot the Affairs of the Association for the next three years.
The Association is expected to serve as think tank to the Government and
further contribute outside service to the policy formulation and implementation
of Government programes in the overall interest of the State Government.
