Oyo Govt. Promises to Clear Unpaid Gratuities by 2027

The Oyo State deputy governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal has reiterated the commitment of the present administration to ensure that all unpaid gratuities are cleared before 2027.

Barrister Lawal gave the assurance in Ibadan, while meeting with the heads of Ministries of Culture and Tourism, Establishments and Training, and Special Duties.

Addressing newsmen after the closed doors meeting, Barrister Lawal, sought the commitment and loyalty of the concerned ministries in order to move the state forward.

The Deputy Governor added that the state will also strive to generate income from its cultural heritage.

Present at the meeting were the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Mr Adeniyi Adebisi, the Special Adviser on Establishment and training, Alhaji Siju Lawal, and the Coordinating Director, Oyo State Housing Corporation.
