The end of the year 2025 Roundtable media chat of the Network of People Living with HIV/AID, NEPWHAN Oyo State Chapter has been concluded in Ibadan the Oyo state capital.
The event which witnessed assessment and evaluation of NEPWHAN projects covering July to December 2025 saw stakeholders in the health sector present.
While delivering his presentation, the state’s Programme Officer, Mr. Oluseun Adebiyi, highlighted six months’ success stories and recommendations in the various local governments where projects were implemented.
On his part, Oyo State Coordinator NEPWHAN, Mr. Faith Olawale, appreciated Global Fund for its financial assistance in helping to resolve issues in Primary Health Centres in various local government areas of the state.
Mr. Olawale called on federal and state governments to do more in assisting NEPWHAN to be able to embark and prosecute more projects at different communities in the coming years.
A stakeholder and participant, Dr. Adio Oluwasegun appreciated executive directors of the Ministry of Health, community based organization and programme officers for their unflinching support in the achievement of set goals and objectives of NEPWHAN.
NEPWHAN Oyo state in conjunction with the community based organization have been working in ten local government areas of the state including Atiba, Egbeda, Ona Ara, Afijo and Ibadan Northwest.
