Oyo NUP Idi Ayunre Branch Elects New Excos

The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP Oyo state council, Idi Ayunre branch has elected new executive members that will run the affairs of the branch for the next four years.

The election that was witnessed by Secretary, Oyo NUP, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, was held at the St. Annes School, Molete, Ibadan.

Comrade Olusegun Abatan, while announcing the results, stated that the Branch Chairman, Elder Korede Lawal who was re-elected polled a total of 52 votes over his opponents Mr Kayopaye Davies who polled 42 and Mr Fatokun Oladimeji who polled 30 votes.

Assistant Secretary, Oyo NUP, Comrade Banji Koleoso after the announcement of the results, sworn in the new executives with an oath office of Oyo NUP.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the swearing in of the excos, the re-elected Chairman, Elder Lawal lauded the state NUP for conducting a free, fair and credible election and promised to uphold the standards of the union.

Elder Lawal, therefore, solicited for continuous cooperation of members for a smooth administration.

The new elected executives were, Vice Chairman, Mr Ramoni Olawepo, Secretary, Mr Olajire Ajibola, Treasurer, Mrs Oluwatoyin Koleowo and Auditor, Tiamiyu Oladimeji.

Others are Trustee, Mrs Deborah Adebayo, two Ex offiios, Mr Agboola Yisau and Mr Amusa Fatai
