The Public Relations Officer of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Southwest zone, Comrade Olusegun Abatan has called on southwest governors to emulate Late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, who implemented 33.4% pension increment.
Comrade Abatan said this while featuring on Pensioners FM current affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.
He said the late Ondo State Governor prioritised welfare of retirees before his demise.
Comrade Abatan added that the Union in the south West would continue to work out modalities for the wellbeing of Pensioners
