The Chairman, Board of Pensioners’ FM 106.7, Chief Adebisi Adesola, has praised the station’s management and staff for successfully organising the maiden edition of its five-a-side football competition for secondary schools in Oyo State.
Speaking during the station’s monthly board meeting held at Nigeria Union of Pensioners’ House, Agbarigo, Onireke, Ibadan, Chief Adesola expressed appreciation for the initiative and the dedication demonstrated.
He described the competition as a valuable form of community engagement, as it fosters youth development and also serves as a means to enhance the station’s visibility and revenue generation.
Chief Adesola also reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to support programmes and activities that contribute to the station’s continuous growth.
A key highlight of the meeting was the presentation of medals of appreciation by the management and staff of Pensioners’ FM to Chief Adesola, the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of the station, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, Director of Administration of the station, Comrade Banji Kolesho, and the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, Comrade James Osuntade.
