Pensioners under the Contributory Pension Scheme, CPS, are set to protest their unpaid gratuities and arrears at the Accountant General Office, Abuja.

Chairman, CPS, Southwest, Comrade Joe Oyadiran made this known while featuring on Pensioners FM programme, “The Searchlight.”

According to Comrade Oyadiran, the government has been withholding their gratuities and arrears since 2007, despite several efforts made to ensure they were paid.

Comrade Oyadiran also lamented that pensioners under the CPS were excluded from the recent payment of 20 per cent pension increase and the increment of a minimum pension of 32,000 naira.
