The Chairman, Retired Army Navy and Airforce Officers Association of Nigeria, RANAO, Oyo State Chapter, Rear Admiral Babatunde Egbedina (rtd) has advocated better welfare and supervision of Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camps across the country by the federal government.
Rear Admiral Egbedina in an interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent, made this known shortly after RANAO Annual General Meeting, AGM held in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
According to him, if IDPs are left unsupervised, it would intensify the level of insecurity in the country.
Rear Admiral Egbedina urged the government to direct those in charge of the camps to teach values and morals, especially among children.
The Chairman also sought for provisional partnership with corporate organisations for smooth running and promotion of RANAO’s investments.
Rear Admiral Egbedina thanked members of the Chapter’s Executive Committee, CEXCO for their cooperation and smooth running of the association.
