The Southwest Governors’ Forum has visited its Chairman and Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, in Ibadan.
The Governors present at the meeting according to a press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor, Mr Richard Olatunde include Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwó-Olú, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji.
Governor Akeredolu, appreciated the Governors for their solidarity and harped on continuous collaboration among the Southwest States.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who received his counterparts at the Oyo State secretariat, said the Forum was praying for Governor Akeredolu and reassured him of their support.
The Governors also discussed national and other issues affecting the region and the people of Ogun, Ekiti, Lagos, Ondo and Oyo state.
