Integrity, a fundamental virtue that transcends age, race, tribe, religion, and sphere of influence, holds immense significance in the society.
Regardless of socio, religious or political differences, integrity is a universal value that guides people’s actions and shapes their character.
Examining the situations faced daily, integrity plays out both among the leaders and the led, highlighting the importance of this virtue in fostering a just and prosperous society.
At its core, integrity is the alignment between one’s moral principles and behaviour, even in the face of challenges or temptations.
It is about being honest, trustworthy, and reliable, which reflects a person’s commitment to doing what is right, irrespective of personal gain or circumstances. It is a quality that should be upheld by every individual, regardless of their position or role, particularly when it comes to the relationships between bosses and staff, parents and children, teachers and students, and all other aspects of the society.
