A Cleric from Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Iyanu Ajanla, Oke-Ado Ibadan, Pastor Samuel Okuewu, has admonished Christians to live a Godly life, to enable them reap profits here on earth and in heaven.
Pastor Okuewu made this known during his sermon at the funeral service of Late Babatunde Olaniyi popularly known as “Ti O Common” which was held in Ibadan.
The Cleric said Christians must strive to be obedient to the word and leading of God at all times.
Pastor Okuewu also described the Late Babatunde Olaniyi as a godly man.
‘Without godly nobody can see the lord that was what the holy bible says -Pastor Okuewu’.
The Wife of the deceased, Mrs Olayinka Olaniyi, in an interview with Pensioners FM Correspondent, described her husband as a loving, kind and extraordinary human and described his death as a great loss.
‘I do not know of a better life than the one I spent you’- Mrs Olaniyi stated.
Also speaking, one out of the children of Late Babatunde Olaniyi, Miss Oluwatobi Olaniyi who spoke on behalf of other children described her father as loving, kind and generous.
‘He was an amazing man, our relationship while growing up was one of a kind’- Miss Olaniyi stated.
Present at the event include political stalwarts, media colleagues, friends and families.
The veteran broadcaster, Babatunde Olaniyi “Ti O Common” died during a brief illness at the age of 66 years.
