Two Public Affairs Analysts have called on the federal government to invest more in transparent governance to strengthen democratic values.
The Analysts, Barrister Fatai Adeshina and Mr Ayodeji Ajisope made this known while speaking on the emergence of Donald Trump as the 47th president of United States on Pensioners FM current affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.
Barrister Adeshina and Mr Ajisope said transparency in governance would lead to accountability and good governance for the benefit of citizens.
Speaking further, Barrister Adeshina and Mr Ajisope attributed Trump’s emergence to his economic policies during his first tenure as the president.
The Analysts also commended Democrat presidential candidate, Kamala Harris for her dedication and resilience, noting that her spirited campaign demonstrated the strength of democracy.
