UNICEF Holds Capacity Building on SBCC, Content Creation Workshop  in Lagos

Creation of impactful contents to inspire Social Behavioural Change, SBC requires the synergy of every stakeholder in community building and development.

This formed the consensus by over 40 participants at a 5-Day SBC Capacity Building and Co-Creation Workshop put together by the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF in collaboration with Oyo State Ministry of Information and Orientation in Lagos.

Welcoming the participants, UNICEF Programme Director in the Oyo Ministry of Information and Orientation, Mr. Rotimi Babalola, challenged participants to bring their expertise, professional and field experiences to bare during the workshop.

Mr. Babalola emphasised on the need for contents that would encourage Social Behavioural Change on women and children health related issues, especially Human Papilloma Virus, HPV.

A consultant from the Institute of Social Change Development & Innovation, Abuja, Mr. David Iliya, underscores the need for participants to make use of their numerical strength and backgrounds to achieve the Workshop’s aims and objectives.

Among the over 40 Participants selected from Civil Society Organizations, Career officers and the media include the General Manager, Pensioners’ FM, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.

The Workshop continues tomorrow and ends on Friday.
