The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo state council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan has appealed to Governor Seyi Makinde to address problems of retirees caused by past administrations in the state.
Comrade Abatan made this known while featuring on Pensioners FM current affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.
According to the Oyo State NUP Scribe, some of the problems have been presented to Governor Makinde in a 13-point agenda.
Comrade Abatan, also revealed that the Union had held series of meetings with Oyo state Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni on implementation of their various demands.
He commended Governor Makinde for his commitment to the welfare of Pensioners.
Speaking further, Comrade Abatan said the union was working towards the take-off of the first Pensioners-hospital in the world and Pensioners Microfinance bank next year.
