The Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, NEPWHAN has called on the Oyo State Government to consider ADHOC staff at various Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs) in the state.
The State Programme Officer, NEPWHAN, Mr Seun Adebiyi made the call as part of recommendations at a bi-annual media roundtable for stakeholders in charge of community development projects in Oyo State, held in Ibadan.

Mr Adebiyi also urged the government to provide adequate medicines to PHCs at local governments in Ibadan South East, Ibadan North East, Ona Ara, Egbeda and Oyo East.
Mr Adebiyi added that within the first six months of this year, NEPWHAN has made steady progress with the cooperation of Executive Directors and Community Development Officers.

On his part, the state coordinator, NEPWHAN, Mr Faith Olawale called for rehabilitation of dilapidated the PHCs buildings and provision of adequate security.
Mr Olawale also urged stakeholders to come up with sustainable plans that will tackle the challenges faced by the PHCs.
