There is no teaching of God that supports violence and terrorism.
This was the submission of Guest Lecturer, Alhaji Mikhail Komolafe at the post Ramadan lectures of University of Ibadan Muslim Graduates’ Association, UIMGA held in Ibadan.
Speaking on the topic “Islamic Awakening Between Laxity and Extremism in the Face of Uprising Sectoral Divides” Alhaji Komolafe called on Muslim faithful to be good ambassadors of Islam by embracing humanity over violence and terrorism.

Alhaji Komolafe urged Muslim faithful to always seek knowledge as a way to moderate their belief between laxity and extremism in Islam.
National President, UIMGA, Alhaji Abdulmojeed Imran said the association organised the lecture to dwell more on the teachings of Ramadan and the tenets of Islam.

On his part, Chairman, Planning Committee, Alhaji Kazeem Olayiwola while appreciating people that came to the event, said the association picked the topic to educate the public that Islam is a religion of peace and unity.
Dignitaries present were Chairman, Oyo State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe, Former Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Dr. Sulaiman Adediran and General Manager, Pensioners FM, Dr Babatunde Tiamiyu.
