Oyo Govt. to Begin “I Am Alive” Physical Screening

The Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board will begin “I Am Alive” Physical Screening of both retired local government staff and teaching and non teaching staff of public primary schools in the state, in order to determine the actual number of retirees that are still alive and those that have died.

The Chairman of the Board, Hon Akeem Ige made this known in a statement made available to newsmen.

According to a statement, the physical screening will commence on Monday till Friday, 28th of this month at the designated centres across the thirty three local governments in Oyo State.

The management of the Board said all retirees  are expected to appear physically with their documents such as online print out form, computation/ re-computation sheet,  pension certificate,  means of identification either Voters card, National Identification Number ( NIN), drivers licence, or international passport and one recent passport photograph.

The Board then advised all retirees to cooperate with screening officials and liaise with their NUP branch Chairmen for clarification and further information.

The Board further said that all retirees in Diaspora will be screened through video call after the completion of the physical exercise in all the thirty three local governments.
