The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC Oyo State Council has felicitated the state governor, Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 57th birthday in a big way.
Chairman Oyo NLC, Comrade Kayode Martins in a statement, expressed warm congratulations to Governor Makinde, praising his dedication to improving the lives of workers in the state.
The NLC acknowledged Governor Makinde’s significant contributions to the state, particularly this year and expressed gratitude for his commitment to workforce welfare.
Comrade Martins said Governor Makinde’s administration has implemented various initiatives to support workers and residents in Oyo State, such Sustainable Action for Economic Recovery, SAfER package aims to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal and includes measures such as increased buses for civil servants, health insurance for vulnerable persons, and support for small businesses.
The NLC’s praise for Governor Makinde’s leadership and commitment to workers’ welfare is a testament to his administration’s positive impact on Oyo State.
They also wished him a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025.
