The Pastor in charge of New Haven Baptist Church, Orelere Street, GRA Ikolaba, Ibadan, Rev. John Adeyemo, has encouraged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and continue to trust in God despite prevailing challenges.
Rev. Adeyemo gave the charge during his Easter Sunday sermon titled “The Tomb is Empty,” where he emphasised the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of hope and victory.
He explained that in the face of current socio-economic difficulties affecting the nation believers must hold firmly to the assurance that God is able to save, help, and sustain them through all circumstances.
Rev. Adeyemo who stated that given the present situation in the country, Christians should look up to Jesus Christ as the ultimate source of help and security, noted that only him can provide lasting solutions and peace.
